Taiwan Perovskite Research and Industry Association (TPRIA) is dedicated to advancing the research, development, and application of perovskite solar technology to drive the global energy transition. Established as a collaborative platform by experts from industry and research institutions, the alliance aims to build a comprehensive perovskite supply chain in Taiwan. Our mission is to accelerate industrial growth and create a sustainable, net-zero environment for Taiwan.

Perovskite Solar Energy

As the threats of climate change to the environment and human livelihoods continue to intensify, more than 130 countries worldwide have pledged and begun taking action toward net-zero emissions by 2050. In addition to strengthening carbon-reduction management across production processes, increasing the share of renewable energy is essential.

With over 150 years of development, solar photovoltaics have now entered a third generation led by perovskite solar technology. Applications such as building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), vehicle-integrated photovoltaics (VIPV), agrivoltaics, and IoT self-powered solutions are redefining what solar can be. Built around perovskite solar, an emerging ecosystem spanning equipment, encapsulation, and energy management is poised to become a defining driver of the 21st-century photovoltaics industry.

About Smart Energy Week

Smart Energy Week Japan features a portfolio of world-class energy exhibitions and technology zones, and is held alongside related sustainability and decarbonization shows at the same venue.
