Perovskite solar panels are thin and flexible, making them ideal for integration onto car roofs. Additionally, these panels have excellent properties regarding transparency and the ability to block radiant heat. They can also be integrated into sunroofs and window frames, thereby effectively reducing interior temperatures and promoting energy efficiency.

Perovskite material is prepared using a solution method. It can be applied to both rigid and flexible substrates. In addition to being compatible with solar panels, it can also be attached to curved engine covers, thereby increasing the area available for electric power generation in vehicles.
Perovskite-based photovoltaic cells have the advantage of having fewer manufacturing steps, which should help to reduce costs.
By stacking it with silicon solar cells, the efficiency of power generation can be significantly improved.
